Hi everyone! My name is Yvette Richardson. I’ve been shooting since I was about 7 years old, when my dad bought me my first camera. Photography has been my passion for many years. I’ve loved capturing photos that include people, their expressions, and the way colors and light dance with a still image. I photograph anything from newborn babies to high school seniors, Weddings, Special Events, Quinceaneras, and more! My main area of interest is with weddings. I began shooting them in 2000 and now have a pretty large portfolio of images to show. It has been wonderful capturing the love between two people during the engagement photo session, the happiness of the bride during her bridals, and the true love they share at their wedding. One of my favorite photos to take is of the groom. The moment when everyone stands up and watches the bride come down the aisle, but usually noone except the groom’s mother and bride watch him. He has the most sincere look of passion, love, and joy that is amazing to capture. I always used to joke about how I am “always the bride’s photographer, but never the bride.” It never bothered me, because I never thought I would ever get married. Even though I love the whole process, I just didn’t think I was going to find the right person for me. However, recently I have found my own soulmate, and will be looking forward to walking down the aisle myself one day. I believe that I will always love capturing the beauty and love between a couple who knows without a doubt that they are meant to be with each other forever and ever.
